Visible light photometer

This device operates based on the principle of Beer – Lambert’s law, which states that the absorbance of a sample is directly proportional to the concentration of the absorbing species in the sample and the path length of the light through the sample. It consists of a light source that emits visible light, a monochromator to select a specific wavelength of light, a sample holder where the sample is placed, and a detector to measure the intensity of the light after it passes through the sample.
